A different kind of experience for us this summer- we played escorts to our Nana who joined a Santa Cruzan for lolas in her village in the province of Laguna. The event was in honor of the village's fiesta (feast day).

The real treat was that it was at our favorite dessert place Sonja's at Serendra. Sure we love the cupcakes (especially the frosting!) at Sonja's but we also like the store itself. Stepping into the store is like stepping back in time, the 1950's! All classic and cozy!

Decorating a cupcake, we found out, was not as easy as it seems. But sure is as delicious as it seems! We really had so much fun creating our own colors for the frosting, and designing cupcakes (and cookies!). Best part was the eating of our very own creations! Yum, yum! Diego had his fill of sugar good to last for a week according to Mom. We also shared some of the cupcakes with Dad and our yayas.
