A different kind of experience for us this summer- we played escorts to our Nana who joined a Santa Cruzan for lolas in her village in the province of Laguna. The event was in honor of the village's fiesta (feast day).The parade was a bit long but the walk even longer if you are part of it. The best thing was that we got to dress up and wear our suits and neckties (though we do not recommend this on a humid summer day.
